Jess creates a safe and supportive environment for every client.
One of care, hope, compassion, respect and empowerment.

Throughout my childhood and early adult life I lived with mental health struggles in silence, and it had a very big impact on my personal and professional life. Once I was able to acknow-
ledge this, I became open to receiving help. While making my way through
the maze that was my mind, I made the decision to change my life direction
and follow a path that was more aligned with who I am and what I care
about most. Taking advantage of my love of studying and professional
development, I knew my experiences and learned skills could be used to
help others experiencing similar struggles.
I love supporting people, and helping each person discover the many strengths they already possess, and teach them a few new tools, so they can live a happier, healthier and fulfilling life! To do this I use a holistic and client-centered approach to help identify and harness each client's strengths, and develop a range of strategies to build confidence, resilience, assertiveness and growth. Evidence-based therapeutic tools are used to help clients overcome challenges in their lives, and thrive into the future.

Which Modalities Do I Use?
I use a range of therapeutic techniques including Person-Centred Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) (otherwise known as 'Tapping'), Play and Movement-Based Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Who Do I Work With?
I work with a range of adult clients who’ve experienced trauma in childhood or as an adult, as well as domestic violence. I also work with client's who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders or self-esteem issues.

I also work with parents. As a mum of 3 young kiddo’s, I understand the ups and downs, twists and turns of parenthood, as well as the many challenges children can experience. Being a parent can be tough, and watching your child, or children, struggle is stressful, exhausting, heartbreaking. I use research-driven, family-focused therapy approaches to build strength, resilience and growth of children, parents and the family unit.

What Therapy Options Are Available?
I offer short-term and long-term therapy options face-to-face in Jamisontown and the Lower Blue Mountains. Video-link/zoom sessions are also available to anyone in Australia.

I am able to see NDIS participants.
